In 1988 Rick & Ileen Sylvester made their vision a reality and started construction of the first phase of many. Over the next 30 years they poured their hearts into a property and made into a quiet get-a-way in the Dillingham Alaska area. In 1988 Rick & Ileen Sylvester made their vision a reality and started construction of the first phase of many. Over the next 30 years they poured their hearts into a property and made into a quiet get-a-way in the Dillingham Alaska area. Since 2005 the facility has been used as a hunting lodge in the spring & fall hunting seasons. This property has housed many individuals, families, hunters & fisherman both short term & long term. Rick & Ileen are proud to have hosted the President of the United States advanced security team prior to and after the visit of the President in 2014. In 2024 the property was purchased with the intention of running a year-round BNB. We look forward to serving the community of Dillingham and helping customers to create memories in the great state of Alaska.

Alison was born and raised on a grain and livestock farm in central Illinois. I spent 22 years in the animal health industry building and managing two veterinary practices & a swine consulting business. I am active in my family grain & livestock farm. I thoroughly enjoy the health and regulatory portion of our whitetail deer farm, Rusty
Alison was born and raised on a grain and livestock farm in central Illinois. I spent 22 years in the animal health industry building and managing two veterinary practices & a swine consulting business. I am active in my family grain & livestock farm. I thoroughly enjoy the health and regulatory portion of our whitetail deer farm, Rusty Gun Whitetails. In my spare time I enjoy working in my apiary on the family farm, milling lumber from our farms and creating in the wood shop. My passion is in the outdoors. Hunting, fishing, foraging, hiking. I have been blessed with many opportunities to travel and hunt around the globe.
I was initially drawn to Alaska 7 years ago to hunt a Brown Bear. Through that hunt I found lake property near Wasilla that I was blessed to be able to develop it into a subdivision, allowing me to return to Alaska often. In 2023 my son graduated from High School, completed a trade school and now travels for work allowing me to work in Dillingham for the fall to hunt and work on my guides license. I stayed at the Dillingham Bed & Breakfast on my last hunt and discovered the facility was for sale. I am excited to get to know and serve the community better and enjoy everything Dillingham and the outdoors of Alaska has to offer.

We can accommodate up to 20 overnight guests. Each bedroom has it's own private bathroom. Each unit has a full kitchen and living room. Rooms are available on the main level and upper level

Airport shuttle is available as well. We have an outdoor fire pit with a larges supply of firewood. Gas BBQ Grills are also availble for use. The beautiful views of the tundra and Warehouse Mountain cant be beat.
